I'm looking at after thanksgiving sales, and I just really never know whether or not I'm getting the best deal. Is there a guide somewhere that huggies or pampers or luvs uses for #s of diapers in a pack of "mega" or whatever? My guy is in a six...so i really need to make sure i'm getting a good deal... thanks in advance

It is probably listed on their websites (huggies.com, pampers.com, etc) or just go down to the store and write down the numbers. The amount in a pack gets less as the size gets larger do a Size 1 Jumbo will have about twice as many diapers as a Size 6 Jumbo though same price. Jumbo is the smallest pack...for a Size 6 probably 18-22 diapers. Mega is the next size pack...typically 1.5-times that in a Jumbo (maybe 32-36). Economy I believe refers to buying a box of several packs at once, which you can do at Babies R Us for a good price but not sure if they carry that size. In my area, a jumbo pack is sale price $9.99 while a mega pack sale price would be $13.99 (for 50% more diapers). The best deal if you can pull it off is to get diaper coupons then keep an eye out for a $6.99 Jumbo pack sale and stock up then. Other moms I know say the best standard deal is in bulk at Walmart or Costco.

As a general rule you tend to save a little when you buy the bigger packs because you're essentially buying in bulk. Keep in mind that many store brands are made by the larger Name Brand companies. Walmart's White Cloud brand is made by Huggies and I swear by them. a Mega pack in this brand generally goes for like $8 more. If you have a Wal-Mart near you, go there because you can't go wrong!!! I have 4 kids, I speak from experience!

The only brand of diapers that really works good for my kids are White Cloud. My youngest two are in size 5 and I get a box of 80 for 15$ at Walmart. Hope this helps. =)

I tried the white cloud, and they sucked (for my children) but I've heard of many people who love them. I use the Parents choice (also a store brand at wal mart) and have loved them for both of my boys. I have found that you just have to try different diapers (if you're gonna go generic) because some you'll like, and some you'll hate. Best wishes!

I don't really know if they have things like that on sale tomorrow. It's usually just things that could be given as gifts that are on sale. But you never know I guess. Just check the paper and see who has the cheapest ones.
