Anti-thyroid? Are you speaking of Levothyroxine, Eltroxine or Synthroid? I've been on each of these since having part of my thyroid removed...I had no side effects from this drug but you do have to remember to take it as perscribed otherwise you can experience metabolism changes (i.e body having difficulty regulating your body temperature, extremities becoming ice cold or blood warm (circulation problems)...

This medication requires a blood test maximum 1 year increments to ensure that your dosage is not too high or too low.

Depending on the drug, but you can have mild to severe side effects from any drug. If you are noticing something that is bothersome, it wouldn't hurt to call your physician or nurse and ask them!

PTU makes your pee smell awful! Apart from that, I didn't have any other side effects.
