The pre bagged veggies is MARKETED for instant use (hassle free). We live in a world were everyone is in a rush.

Have you ever been to a restaurant and was given a dirty cup or fork. NOW that cup or fork was supposedly WASHED but NOT THOROUGHLY.

I would rinse my salad in icy cold water. It rinses any possible missed spots and it will make your salad more crispy a fresh looking. :)

How do I say this delicately? The time-saving attributes of convenience foods are usually offset by something hazardous.
With greens sold in plastic bags, one of the problems is that it has been sprayed with some chemical to keep it green and probably radiated to extend shelf life. It also may be moldy.
When opening the package--If you MUST buy it.....Soak it in your dishpan for awhile in salt water, to rinse it fairly clean and also to crisp it up. When you open the package...put your nose down in it and smell....If it has any off-odor, toss it.

What's with you asking this question again? Wasn't last time satifying enough?
Yes, wash it if you think it wasn't washed well enough.
Yes, wash it because the process of bagging puts residue of the process in with the salad.
Personally, I don't wash prepackaged salad. I've seen food at the salad bar that looked worse. If you are worried about it, then wash it. Your body, your decision. My opinion.

I suggest you do wash it. You can never be sure what really went on during the packaging. Better to be safe than sorry.

It says it is prewashed, but I always give it a good rinse.
