I thinnk all asian people cant drive. Either they drive 40 MPH over the speed limit or 10 mph under. And dont even get me started on all those stuffed animals in the backseat window. How can i get past this bias????

Oh man let me tell you.....where YOU live, may be a certain amount of ethnic originated people....but, where I live?.....mostly caucasion, as I am, and they can't drive either....I live in the country....work one night a week...on a deserted country road, two lane, people will ride with their brights on, click them off, only, when they have reached my vehicle, and have blinded the hell out of me....NO ONE HERE where I live in the bible belt America, know how to turn their turn signal light on BEFORE they are gonna turn, they slam their brakes and then turn the turn signal on, IF they turn it on at all!!!!!! I live in White America, Southern region America, and they DO NOT KNOW HOW TO F%^$# DRIVE, to be at the very least!!!! Courteous to the other driver!!! Everyone is in such a big rush to get wherever they need to go, with no regard to the other people on the road....I AM PREJIDUCE, AGAINST "STUPID" people, I don't care what they are, if they are a holes, they are a holes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Get out and start meeting Asian people. Ignorance is the main reason why stereotypes work.
Let me tell you something. On my trip to Tokyo last year, I learned a new respect for the drivers there. The streets there are almost as wide as the little cars they have there. Parking is a nightmare. But, those people there are hella better drivers than I could ever be, hell, better than any Caucasian could be! They drive those streets all the time, and not once did I see an accident. Every day, I see accidents here in the U.S.

Try to disprove yourself ex. I am asian I hate stuffed animals and I always dirve at the speed limit never under or never over with slight exeptians occasionalyy

Don't worry about it think to yourself when you see someone who is slightly asian or is think of them as mixed americans some with just tanned skin and some with diffrent facial fetures

LOL...I agree with the guy who said it's not racism.. but rather sterotyping...
I happen to live in the South (am white/caucasian too)... and I feel every white man and women that lives in the south doesn't know how to drive... use turn signals... or keep their fingers outta their noses...
It's not just Asians that drive slow... it's everyone...
but... if you wanna stop... remember the other Asian sterotype... they can ALL do martial arts (and do it just like Bruce Lee)... who wants to get mad at or sterotype someone who can beat their *Behinds*...

If they drive above the speed limit, the cops will get them. If they drive under, you can overtake them. In any case, it's not your problem. So don't worry about it. The less you think about it, the sooner you will get over your racist bias, if you have any.

Wow, gee. I don't now about the stuffed animals, that's more of any girl who spends more time in pj's than street clothes but I've always had the same experience too. And I'm not racist at any level other than the stereotypical kind caused by television and life experience. But hey, you're not supposed to point it out at least.

Those are pretty unimportant biases in the dating scene. Just don't mention it and you should be fine.
If you think someone is stupid because of their race, or less human, then you have a problem. Just get over it and don't tell people that. Or just go on the highway and see Asian people drive like everyone else.

Everyone has their biases. (Yes, even me.) You just need to keep those biases quiet. You would never discriminate TO an Asian, would you? Just remember this lesson from Avenue Q:
"Everyone's a little bit racist sometimes
Doesn't mean we go around committing hate crimes
Look around and you will find
No one's really colour-blind
Maybe it's a fact we all should face

every one has biasis of some sort we can all be racist if pushed so dont worry your just normal. And Frankly some steryotypes are spot on.
A good portion of Asians are horrible drivers especially if they are foreigners used to driving on the leftside of the road.
