well,
there's this guy and he REALLY likes me.
and i mean alot.
hes already asked me out,
but i barely knew him and said we should become friends first.
now were pretty good friends,
and every time i get a message from him,
im scared he'll ask me again.
but the thing is,
i like him back.
but i'm afraid of having a relationship again..
i just hate having my heart broken.
he's a great guy though.
but i dont want to lose him.
and if we went out i know i eventually would.
nothing lasts forever..
what should i do ?

If you like this guy and don't take advantage of him wanting to go out with you then you will never know if it could be forever or not. Don't be a fool. It is hard enough to get a guy let alone let him go for a reason that seems insignificant. If you let every guy you like get away you are going to be unhappy and then what. Heart break is just a way for you to know your still alive. Be positive.

Sounds like you are certain that he will hurt you. Why? Because you have been hurt before? How do you know he will not be different?
What you are doing is projecting your hurt feeling onto him, and that's not fair. It's not fair to him and not fair to you.
Unless you have some way of seeing into the future so you can be 100% certain that the relationship won't work, I'd suggest you take a chance. This may be the relationship that will work, but you won't know that for certain unless you try.

You have you to give him a little chance!!
He gave you a chance by getting to know you & the friendship is what you cherish so don't pass by a good man by being scared.

you have already sabotaged it without giving it the chance to flourish. remember, all thought creates form. enjoy it and learn from it. no matter what the outcome will be, you will be enriched by the experience alone. a life without risk is like no life at all.
