Definately sounds like anxiety. Anxiety often leads to IBS and GERD. I have had anxiety disorder for 19 years and I have had these symptoms ALOT! Like you I have gone to lots of doctors and to the ER many times too. The fact that your tests are all normal is a good thing. That makes me feel like you really have nothing medically wrong with you other than the anxiety. The symptoms you described all sound way too familiar. I have tried so many meds over the years. I have fianlly found one recently that seems to be able to stop an attack in its tracks. (finally!!!)

Anyway, as I said, I have years of experience with this. I know several websites that offer alot of information and coping techniques. I also am a member of a great online support group. Everyone there has anxiety so they truly understand. They all are very nice and helpful. It is free to so that's really nice. If you'd like this information just email me through my user profile on here and I will be glad to share what I can with you. I also have yahoo messenger if you'd like to chat. It's always reassuring to me to be able to talk with others who are going through the same thing I am. Best of luck to you!

I am so happy, it was only a 35 minute drive ( 70 minutes total) but absolutely no sign of anxiety or panic i shopped till I dropped - brilliant! I will now go for the next stage DUAL CARRIAGE way, probably at the weekend, with my husband accompanying me first then the solo drive, if successful the final stage of driving on motorway

I'm a medical researcher. It is widely agreed among physicians and medical paraprofessionals, that initial diagnosis, mostly by using a typical acid reflux symptoms questionnaire, is necessary to ensure the most effective and quick treatment for this condition. Approx 70% of the acid reflux diagnostics that are based on the presence of typical symptoms are accurate. Since acid reflux, also called GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease), can cause patients a great deal of discomfort and result in severe complications, it is highly important to know how to identify its symptoms in order to quickly diagnose and treat it.

If you know you have acid reflux you can try this natural program http://acidreflux.toptips.org

sounds like anxiety, it can mimic a heart attack, shortness of breath and chest pain. Shortness of breath because you are hyperventilating and probably don't notice it therefore the numbness and tingling in the arms and hands. Anxiety causes dull, sharp chest pain. Faacial teeth pain from clenched teeth due to stress which causes the anxiety.
