I got an all black tattoo on the inside of my wrist and one on my calf about 6 days ago. The one on my calf barely has a scab, but the one on my wrist has formed a thick scab. Some of the scabs have fallen off, but underneath the tattoo looks grayish. Will the tattoo need to be redone.

The reason you have a thick scab there is because there is more blood flow in the area. The scab willfall off and should not affect the tat. Just follow your artist's directions.

It should be okay, if the tattoo artist used a good brand of ink. After the scab falls off there will be a white film over it that will go away but it takes a long time. Could even take up to a couple of months or so. I had a tattoo that did the same thing. When it finally did heal, it looked just like it did the day I had it done.

it will probably be ok, after the scab falls off there will be like a white film over it that will go away and it will be clear. keep it moist and dont worry about it for a couple weeks...well if it is already 6 days about a week.

just dont pick at it bcuz picking at it will take the ink out of your tat.
