Orange Juice and Grenadine. Seriously. Use only the best tequila though. I would use tres generations because it is soooooo smooth! But other then that, I would say salt and a lime. You can't go wrong there. I have had people drink red bull with it, oj and lemonade. Try it and see what works best!

Tequila Sunrise (OJ, Triple Sec and grenadine) is lovely, here in Mexico the most common mix is the "Paloma" (Dove) salt, lime juice, grapefruit soda (Squirt, Fanta) .......
(Mixing Tres Generaciones tequila? My God that's like mixing a 17 year old single malt with Coke! Yuucchhh!)

Oh, you meant to DRINK...
It's good with limeade, Rose's Lime juice, and triple sec -- the classic margarita.
It's also AWESOME with pineapple juice, orange juice, a little orange liqueur, and a dash of grenadine -- more or less a mai tai but with tequila instead of rum.
And as an after-dinner classic, it's good to drop a shot each of tequila and Kahlua into a cup of hot coffee and top with whipped cream. Delicious, warming, and relaxing.

Unless you get a really good tequila like Herra Durra, (and I know there are even better tequilas out there) I'd suggest lots of fruit juices or lime wedges.

"Bloody Maria"
1 1/2 oz. tequila
2 oz. tomato juice
Dash tabasco
Worcestershire sauce
Lemon juice
Garnish with a lime or Bloody Mary Mix.
"California Lemonade"
Fill a large glass with ice; add 1/2 oz. Gin, 1/2 oz. Vodka, 1/2 oz. Rum, 1/2 oz. Tequila, 1/2 oz. Triple Sec 1 1/2 oz. sweetened lemon juice. Stir and add 7up.

beleave it or not , crab legs, oh my god soooo goood, had it one nite at a bar in cleveland ohio, won a bet, drank a whole bottle of tiquila by myself, while eating crab legs,,,, the taste blended perfect and the crab legs help keep me on an even keel, ,,,,,, only paid for the first two shots,,,, last quarter of the bottle the barmaid said if you can drink it you can have it, so got drunk and ate good for the price of two shots, best deal i ever got! hhahahahhaha really is good with seafood try it yu will love it.

If you are going to drink it alone, salt, lime and sangrita, if you want to mix it, try mixing it with salt, lime and grapefruit soda or seven up.
Another way is with tomato juice, lime, tabasco and worcester sauce. Or maybe margarita mix
Or just simply enjoy a good one straight
