Every time I get rid of a blackhead, there's always this visible HOLE where the blackhead used to be. And it doesn't really close up, even with cold water, leaving it vulnerable to new blackheads. And of course, my face looks like the moon. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

I've noticed no body has really have given you an answer... I have the same problem, it took out my blackheads and then i still had a hole, i didn't even know whether or not my black head was gone or not. So what I do is put on Burts Bee's pore refining mask, it closed up a lot of my pores. I wash my face with cold water, pat it dry, then rub on an ice cube.

steam your face over a pot of boiling water. Then wash your face with some kind of salicylic acid face wash with ICE COLD water. This takes away redness, dirt, and closes the pore.
and tea tree oil and /or melaleuca oil is good to put on a blackhead before you go to bed.. it makes the pore more likely to close when you pop it. Sleep with it on, don't wash it off.

A great way to close pores is with honey. Take just a dap of honey on your CLEAN finger and rub it on your pore(s). Let it sit for about 3 to 4 minutes. Wash it off with ICED water-- and viola! Pore-- no more! Good luck! (PS-- if that doesn't work, try ice cubes.)

if you get rid of a blackhead by popping it or whatever your doing it wrong just wait a couple days and try and rub your face with rubbing alcohol and it should dry up the blackheads, it worked for me;)

To keep your pores clean use a topical beta hydroxy acid. Start with a low percentage, usually 1%, and in combination with alpha hydoxy acid, your skin will look great. www.cosmeticscop.com has the very best and latest skin scoop. My skin has never looked better. Her products are excellent, and inexpensive, and she also offers samples. Also on her website, she does product reviews, where I found alot of products I was using actually were irritating my skin! Great info, check it out.
