Me and this guy are really good friends and i finally asked for his number and he gave it to me. ever since then hes been actin a lil different like opening doors and sittin beside me alot....What are some signs that he likes me so i know if he does or not

If he does things for you like that, takes you to dinner, buys you things, calls you a few times a day those are all good signs he has feelings for you-as more than a friend.

sitting beside you alot is definetely a sign
he might try to sound like a smooth talker
he will call you at least once a day, only when he as completely decided to go in your direction
otherwise, he will call, just to say hi, once in awhile.
If he really likes you he will buy you flowers, because he knows women like them.

He should have been that way anyway since it is the right thing. But I would say that he is obviously feeling like he likes you. He may just need a little help saying it.

More obvious clues would be he will be with you all the time. The way he looks at you will be different too.
Opening doors and greetings can just be basic courtesy and gentlemenly manners

We all send signals which can be difficult to understand! Yeah, he likes you but (IMHO) he is looking for more! And that, my dear, is not a serious relationship!
Again (IMHO) you can do much better! Unless, it's just sex you are looking for. In that case, He is interested!

Well when you asked him for his number, he probably thought you liked him. He probably all ready liked you and now he thinks you like him back. That's why he's been doing this.
