On this subject , it personally don't bother me, however it has been proven if you force some one to hide their sexuality it comes out in a negative way. People can not change who they are, we as a nation should not force them to hide, but encourage them to come out and be free to express themselves.
I believe gay marriage would do just this, but like I said i'm not gay and it will not affect me in any way. Really I'm not gay, but I do apove of gay marrige. The Cristian community has been for a while now the main opposition to this, so in light of recent events I think this will change within the next 2 - 4 years. Also did I mention I'm not gay ? just checking . I just hope our socitey will be ready for it when it does come into effect. So I hope I helped add some positive light to this subject even though I'm not gay.

The federal government doesn't accept gay marriage from Canada so I'll guess Mexico won't be any different.
I think I'm only interested in if it is real or a fraud. I don't really support expanding the marriage category because ICE has found that 1 out of 5 of their fraud cases are marriage based. However, I think 'real' life partners of US citizens have a better claim than 'convenience hetrosexual marriages' of US partners do. Again, it is a situation where the bad eggs have spoiled expanding the category for the legitimate claimants.

Hetero men/women help bring immigrants to the states all the time, and have no interest in staying married to them. It is a racket, and could be done by gays now.....Or by hetero men/women who want to bring someone over of the same sex when they aren't really gay. Ugh. Your question is excellent.
But I personally don't think that the federal government will recognize foreign gay marriage as being valid for sponsorship.

It is my opinion that gay unions deserve equal rights but not be called a 'marriage'. What about domestic partner? The key is equality within the eyes of the law.

They may recognize gay marriage in other countries, but it still is not recognized in this one. So I would have to say that putting down on the application that it is a union by marriage is not going to make it through the screeners.

I didn't even know that there were gay Mexicans! Somehow I can't seem to see gay Mexicans in my mind. That's why they've approved this thing. There's nothing to fear, there will be no gay marriages in Mexico! My god, that's where the word Macho comes from. I think the Spanish word for gay is fiesta. They've simply approved fiestas.

A CHRISTIAN nation like the US will never recognize the sinful exploits of other countries that decide immoral behavior is suitable for their citizens. I say if gays want to get married then they should go to Mexico, leave our God fearing nation so we can make this a better place for our kids to grow up!

In my opinion that would ruin america. Why can we just stick with the normal traditions of marriage and not gay anything up.

This is all completely irrelevant. It is illegal to marry for citizenship, it's fraud. Not to mention it is morally irresponsible to marry for anything other then love.
