No, because I know almost the entire New Testament is false.

OK, problem with your question. Are you asking if there were proof that the Bible wasn't true or are you asking if there was proof the bible was true.
Either way it's not even hypothetical. If a person knew there was proof the bible was true, they would have to be stupid to bet that it was false and the same would apply if there was proof the bible was false.

Many people are betting their life it not true. And, the Bible does state that one day a Christian will have to bet their life. Cool Huh? So, there really no money involved, but, only the lives of ourselves and Family and Friends.

Therein is the root of your problem. You think of spiritual concerns in terms of human reasoning..., and its quite remarkable you use money as a plug or lure.
While I am sure some people would say "Yeah! I'd take that bet", they too have their minds on the natural, not the supernatural or rather.., where their hearts should be .
It is not now or ever about material gain or wealth. Its beyond the scope of your limited finite thinking. Hypothetical question or not.., its geared with material, limited thinking. I'm not picking on you nor trying to insult you, but I am trying to see the error of your reasoning and thought patterns.
While you are stuck on the material, and only what you can see, taste, touch and smell.., you cheat yourself of something far richer.

Yes. More than that I'd bet my own life. Since it is the Bible after all that says "We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord." (1 Corinthians 5:8) Jesus also said "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away." (Matthew 24:35)

I've already bet my soul on it. Your hypothetical $1,000,000 is chump change and the lives of my family are not mine to gamble with.

Absolutely not. I believe the bible is spiritual truth, not literal. But... whatever... there is nothing worth betting your family's life on.

I have put my soul on the validity of the Bible. So yeah, I'd do it. (And there is proof. Read Lee Strobel's "The Case for Christ.)

I'd bet everything I had, everyone I knew and my life that it is true, every word inspired by G-d.
