Hello, my computer is in need of reformatting from the windows xp disk. windows says i dont have a valid key (I know I dont) when i used to try to update. I am going to go out and buy a new windows xp. Is windows XP Home a decent Operating program? What is With windows XP OEM? Every 3-4 months I reformat it from scratch again just by inserting the disk and going threw there like that. I need to be able to use the product key again or get a new one from microsoft free? What should I buy?

XP home works very well! XP allows you 3 reinstalls before you have to call and ask Microsoft's permission to install it again. The call is annoying but it only takes about two minutes, they basically just do a couple a key strokes in the computer and reactivate your key code for you at no charge.
