I've always wondered why I've hated getting gifts almost as much as giving them, and it turns out that it's because I have high moral standards and I've always known deep down that giving is wrong, and accepting what you haven't earned is immoral. So don't give me any gifts, and I won't give you any and we can now deal in fair trade, the basis for all civilization, and not the immoral use of force.

Nah... i mean by the time your that age parents have pretty much bought you everything they can think of.. so they just say screw it and just ask, or let you know just to make sure it would be what you wanted... my mom told me I was getting a lapto, because it was so expensive and it had a strict return policy so she wanted to make sure it was something I was really going to use... hey laptops are fun... and who knows they might slip a surprise gift in there somewhere.. :)

Well.... it's great that you are getting a laptop, but if it's a PC then you are just a month short from the Windows Vista release.
