Do the mid range speakers replace front door speakers? i read it's best to put them in box? well, that's how i have them any way, i just don't know where to put them, maybe just sit on back seat of car? answer please, thanks

Since you're in your car, time/distance ratio is not nearly as important as it is with a large audio system, say outdoors. But, you wan to keep the DRIVERS (not the front of the box), but where the magnet sits in relation to each other, on the same plane.

Though phase is frequency dependent, it helps to keep all of the sound leaving the speakers together, so it helps to stay in phase. This will allow you to get the most from your system.
