They sure seem to have some different opinions about God don't they Kennyboy.

They all want to be right.

If they can't even agree amongst themselves, how are the rest of us supposed to believe that this stuff is the truth?

Love and blessings Don

Please read all of this. The answer you are lookng for you will find ONLY in Jesus and now I will explain. Hell is home to all those that break any of the 10 commanments. If you break the law on earh, you are fined. Gods fine is death and hell. If you have ever lied, you've broken the law, ever stolen anything, even something small like a pencil or something, stealing is stealing and lying is lying by the way, then you have broken the law. If you have ever pursued anything or anyone in this life before God, then you have broken the first commandment. If you have ever dishonored either one of you parents in any way, then you have broken the law yet again. There are no excuses, when you have broken the law, your fine must be paid. Do you want to pay that fine, remember it is death and hell? If a criminal who is guilty of a crime stands in front of the judge and says "he is sorry", he is really a "good person", the judge will not let him go until the fine has been paid. Because of the law, the judge HAS to obey it. God is the same way, he knew after sin entered the world and infected everyone that noone could be capable of keeping the law, so that is why Jesus came and kept it for us, then died in our place, went to hell, and set the captives free, and then descended to heaven on the throne of God to be our "intercessor" which is like our lawyer. You see, God looks on the heart and the motives of the heart, there are people who are seemingly good in this world and even do good things alot of the time, but these same people (including me and you) are still very capable of sinful thoughts, and doing good things for the wrong reasons. If you believe in heaven and hell, you must believe that those who go to such places will be judged, so don't stand in front of the Judge (God) without Jesus (your lawyer who intercedes and holds the proof of payment for your fine) alone! This is a very short version of Gods law and the reason we need Jesus, if you have any questions or comments please feel free to email me. Peace.

All religions will pass away. All denominations will pass away. The only God who is from the beginning and will never pass away is the God of Abraham, the Father of Jesus who is God, and the Holy Spirit who is God. Deny either and you loose. Yes, all who do not believe in either of the Trinity calls God a liar and will endure hell forever. I'm sorry if you don't agree, but I don't make the rules. God does and says so in His Word. I'm not trying to convince you, because you would be wrong to take anyone's word for it. Check it out yourself and read the Bible.

As a Christian, it's not my job to 'convince' you - I am simply to tell you the truth.

The truth is that every single person on this planet (except Jesus) has done something wrong - sinned. God, being infinitely holy cannot stand to be around sin. Therefore, we are separated from God. God loves us so much that He just could not leave it that way. He provides a way to spend eternity with Him, through the payment of our sins. Jesus died on the cross to take your punishment for you. The catch? No catch - it is a free gift of God. You simply need to believe and accept Him. That's it.

Now, why is Christianity different from other religions? In Christianity, God provides salvation. All other 'religions' are man's attempt to reach God - you have to do something to gain salvation, Nirvana, Peace, etc. If you were Muslim, you would have to pray 5 times a day, go on hadj, fast at Ramadan - your good deeds would have to outweigh your bad deeds. If you were Hindu, you would have to keep living better and better lives until you are perfect. If you were Buddhist, you would have to become a better and better person until you are so close to perfection that you would be able to achieve oneness with the universal one. Christianity is different because His tomb is empty.

Hell [ Hades] is simply man's grave, not a place of torment.
It is to be done away with, along with death. [ Revelation 20;14]
So it is a 'companion' of death. Hand in hand with it. A 'condition' not a place.
A loving God does not torture. And the word in the Bible is 'torment'. And only applies to Satan and his demons, and organisations termed ' the kings of the Earth' and 'the travelling merchants'
Rev, 20;10
There is only ONE God, and he is JEALOUS. BUT NOT OF HIS ONLY SON, JESUS, BECAUSE JESUS AGREES WITH HIM IMPLICITLY. But they are two separate beings.
God has always been 'there' in heaven. If you see Him you die, not because of His desire to harm anyone, but because of HIS power and magnificence.
Jesus, on the other hand, was created, as God's very first creation. Proverbs 8; 22-31
And it was to his Father in heaven that Jesus prayed for strength to get through his ordeal. Jesus is NOT Almighty God, otherwise he would have been praying to himself.

(John 1:18) No man has seen God at any time; the only-begotten god who is in the bosom [position] with the Father is the one that has explained him.

Listen, PLEASE do not take my word for ANYTHING!! Take God's word.

There isn't a CERTAIN religion that is right, everyone has a little bit of truth. I mean, I can even find truth in the muslim religion. I mean, look at their determination to serve their God Allah!!! Shouldn't we as christians also have that same determination for Jesus???

I would like to share with you something about the trinity though... okay so...

Matthew 28:19-1Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

It says in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost right???

What is the NAME of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost???

Jesus right????

Then also....

Deuteronomy 6:4- Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:

It said ONE Lord right???

So, what do you gather from that??? God is one, right?? He is not three people right??? Right...

Anyhow, we are not the ones that need to decide whether or not people go to heaven or hell...only God can do that!!

I go to a Pentecostal(Apostolic) church and seriously, I can tell you that I have researched it and I REALLY truly believe in what they preach and teach... But surely they can't be right, I mean look at the history, their orginazation started in (I think) the 1900s!!! True, but before we became known as the pentecostals, there were still those that teached and preached what the pentecostals believe. Like I said before, PLEASE do not take my word for it. You have to learn from experience and you have to research yourself and find out if the religon you are about to become and see if it lines up with the word of God.

Remember though, what you chose should not be JUST a religion... it should also be a relationship with God!!

Those that are not loyal to The God and Creator of all that is, visible and invisible, will not gain Eternal Life, because the New Creation will not have the evil and corruption this one has. God is not going to allow anyone He cannot trust to spoil The New Creation.

I am a Deist, and we believe that one must find God through reasoning. If you decide that Christianity, Buddhism, or whatever is right, then so be it. We do not believe that someone goes to Hell because they believe in the wrong religion.

"But the LORD (YHWH = the proper name of the God of the Bible), He is the True God; He is the Living God and the everlasting King." (Jeremiah 10:10) "God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and many ways, in these last days has spoken to us in His SON,(Jesus Christ) whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world. And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He Himself had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high..." (Hebrews 1:1-3) "Truly, truly I (Jesus) say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death, into life" (John 5:24)
I personally testify that the God of the Bible saved me from a life a sin and shame and made me an honest, upright, god-fearing man who lives for the honor of God and the well-being of others, and He did it through faith in the name of His Son Jesus Christ. My sins are forgiven, and I have peace with God and assurance of eternal life. That is the truth, and if i said otherwise, I would be a liar.
