Labeling requirements on stuff with asprin and acetaminophen say beware of liver damage. I understand I shouldn't chase the pills with beer... but what if last drink I had was two days ago?

If your last drink was 2 days ago you should be fine, but when drinking dont combine together. Taking too much asprin that is non coated can cause stomach bleeding and also too much acetaminphen can cause liver damaage. This medication thins the blood and with drinking it can thin the blood also which is dangerous. There is no such thing as a safe pain releiver, everything has a side effect to it.

Alcohol is quickly absorbed into your system. I am sure it is gone within 24 hours if all you had was 3 alcoholic drinks. The liver damage is not instantly but it come over time if you repeated take acetaminophen and aspirin right after drinking. You best bet for a pain reliever and fever reducer is enteric aspirin. This is an Aspen that is coated and passes through the stomach and dissolves in the small intestine and reduces intestinal damage. It is cheap and effective if you are only using it infrequently. This is great question and one we all should understand.

Nope. The amount of alcohol a person drinks has nothing to do with alcoholism. It has to do with the desire to drink alcohol and trouble refusing it. Being a drunk isn't the same as being an alcoholic, either. Some drunks can sober up and not care if they have another drink.
