That the experience of a Christian is inward and heartfelt, we do not at all contest. It is indeed an inward experience that grants the soul new life and power over sin, but these truths will in no wise negate our argument. Does Jesus really care that much about our outward appearance? Yes, insomuch that the scriptures teach us how to dress and how not to dress (I Pet. 3:3-5, I Tim.2:9-10). If you had disciples whom you commanded to represent yourself to the world, how would you want them to represent you? Would you not want them to represent you according to who you really were? If you were a cowboy, would you want your disciples to look like rappers? Would the president of the United States send people with pink hair and shorts on across the seas for peace talks? Of course there will always be those religious people who hate the truths that we here present. Such may discard all this as “nonsense,” but the true child of God will be concerned about the desires of Christ. Outward appearance is very important. To dress like a Christian doesn’t make one a Christian, but this is hardly an excuse not to dress like one.

Mostly everyone looks just like you. Some christian religions do have different dressing standards. Such as the Pentecostal church. The bible says that a women is not wear a man's garment and a man is not to put on a women's garment.(Deturonomy 22:5) We interpert this as women: skirts and dresses; men: pants. There are also some other standards we believe in according to the bible that we follow. So, yea, they look like you and me...

Um...well...
I usually have a dark colored, funky patterned ankle length skirt on with a fitted shirt.Usually I wear my black leather jacket,my long, thick brown leather jacket,or my dark blue jacket. The hair on my head is ...well....dirty brown and long..usually in a ponytail or down .and I have fairly clear skin.
But most Christians are not this way..I am just a funky sexy beast...don't mind me...

Today's society has put Christians in this stereotype. This annoys the heck out of me. "They'll know we are Christians by our love." You can't tell who a Christ follower is by the way they look. It's by the way they act because Christ is in him or her. If their attitude isn't different then the rest of the world, then question their authentincity.

I'm about 5'4", dark blonde, 135 lbs, I wear jeans a lot, no beard,
hair where it's supposed to be, no skin disorders.
Does that help?:-)

Sweetie, Christians are all colors, all sizes, all shapes, all types of hair, all lengths of hair, all ages. God does not discriminate. He made you in His image so He obviously likes His creation. All He is waiting for is for you to accept Him and love Him unconditionally as He does you.

We look just like anyone else (on the outside). What has changed is what is on the inside but it should come out visibly.
Make sense?

We will have love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. As far as physical appearance, we are from every tribe and nation, and can't really be categorized.
