this is coming from a hairdresser....first, how long is your hair anyway? maybe you needeed two inches off, which really is not that much at all. it is about this much .............. not much at all. anyway, you may need a few long layers to not look like a bell. extentions are a good idea for the interview only. they do make temporary extentions, where you can go to a local beauty supply like a sally's beauty supply. they are cheaper, and easy to do yourself, and yes you can match them up with your own hair color. yes, going to get extentions professional can be very expensive like thirteen hunderd dollars, depending on length, and where you get them done. don't let this ruin your holiday. it can be fixed. wish you lived near me.... i'd fix it for you

well getting professional extensions is really expensive, but i do have a solution :]. my friend had homecoming a couple of weeks ago so she went to Sally's beauty salon and got these extensions that just clip into your hair. She says that they stay in really well. The cool part about them is that you can do everything to them that you would do with your hair; straightening, curling, etc. Here they are around $70 normally, but she got them for $50 because she knows a hair dresser that got them for her. You should try it out. I think that it would work perfectly. Good luck!

Try buying a wig. The wigs they have nowadays are very natural, and people won't realize it's a wig. Just make your hair wet before you put it on, and use a hairnet to tie your hair up. If that's not acceptable, extensions work. You can match them to your existing color, and price varies by length and who does them (but don't skimp out on paying for them, or they'll look cheaply done.)However, extensions can pull out existing hair and lead to baldness. Another option is a weave, which looks very natural. It's expensive, but it will look natural and definately restore the length of your hair. Good luck!

get some ideas from your friends on who the best hairdresser in your area are. Go to her/him and have them fix your hair. It may end up a little bit shorter but should still be very stylish. If you have a good style it will look even better in a month for Xmas when it has grown out an inch.
Good Luck!

Maybe you can buy a beautiful sparkly clip and pull part of it back until it grows?

Use a straightener, so that your hair will be totally straight.
And then let it hang. About how long is your hair anyway?
