Has anyone ever dealt with carmax for selling auto?

I sold them a 06 Ford Freestyle. They gave me $17,000 which I felt was a very fair price as I paid $15,000 for it. The only problem was that they gave me a draft for the car and when I deposited it in the bank I had immediate acces to only $100.00 and had to wait 5 days for another $4,900.00 and 10 days for the balance.If you don't mind waiting for check to clear it is a quick and easy way to sell a car.

ive always heard they will give you the most for your car than anyone eles but as for buying they are too high priced.
