yesterday flash worked, but today it just completely stopped working, alot of websites I go to require flash, and I can't watch videos and stuff on Youtube either.

Better re-install. Or restore system the easiest way.
Click Start/Program/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore
Follow guide line and you are done.
This the easiest and safest way if you want your PC back to previous settings.

is it a ms ie update? or ie 7?
re-install flash from adobe

why don't you just uninstall and reinstall again, sometime it can fix the problem
