You ask him/her. How will you know if you never ask? Nowadays people flirt so much and lead people on all the time, you may never know who really likes you or not. So to make things easier on yourself just ask him...simple

Ask them. Tell this person how you feel, that you find yourself attracted to them. In relationships, open communication is key. Regardless of whether the relationship is romantic or not - friendships, classmates, co-workers - we are all looking for people who will like us and be honest with us. A lot of time, particularly in romantic relationships, we like someone but aren't honest about it. (We don't tell the person we like them.) There are also times when we are honest, but don't like the person. (That's called being mean and hurtful.) We'll all looking for both. In your case, you have the liking part down. Now all you need is the honesty part. Tell this person you like them. Everyone wants to be liked. Whether this other person has romantic feelings for you too (as you think they do) will be something you'll find out - and that honesty will be something you'll probably appreciate too. It's better than worrying and stressing about it.

It may be hard, but the best thing to do is be honest with them, tell them how you feel but you really don't want it to get in the way of your friendship and you won't pressure them into anything until they give the go ahead. After that, don't let things get weird between you two, keep it friendly and conversational. Good luck!

Ok, its all in the signs they give you. Does this person flirt w/ you, do they follow you around or do they get nervous around you? Does are signs. Second, if you guys are friends, or if you know any of his/her closest friends, befriend them, and when the time is right, ask them if they know if that person likes you.

simple.... just ask!!!!
you'll loose out on a great person if you dont ask quickly.....
but if you ask and the person says no to you....
its ok.... at least you got things straightened out.....
