I often use a nut cracker to open stuck coke bottles. Depends if you have one though also if you put the bottle in the gap between your door and the jamb...on the side that the hinges are on and pull the door so the bottle is gripped tightly, then just turn the bottle til the lid loosens. Sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. Last resort...ask a neighbor if there's no one else there.

You cannot open it because of the air pressure inside the bottle. What you have to do is poke a small hole in the cap, and it will remove the difference in the pressure. The hole doesn't have to be big, but it has to go all the way through.

A flat rubber disk for a gripper or a pair of rubber gloves (the kind you use when you wash dishes) that works better becasue they form to hour hand and you can grip better, or you can always find a cute strong guy to open it for you.

try running the top under hot water, or if you have a flat piece of rubber, something like say a mouse pad, put it over the cap and twist. Good luck!!
