Like so many others, you have fallen into the deception that we all worship or serve the same God. This is a complete falsehood, and if you will allow me, I will show you why.
The god of Muhammad is not the Father of Jesus. The Qur'an states rather clearly, "Proclaim: Allah is One. Allah is Eternal. He neither begets nor was begotten." (Surah 112:1-4)
In Christianity, we believe that Jesus was begotten. (John 1:14) And we believe Jesus to be God. He applied the name of God, "I AM," to Himself in several passages. Here's a few examples: Matthew 14:27, Mark 6:50, Mark 13:6, Luke 21:8, John 4:26, John 6:20, John 8:24, 28, 58, and John 13:19. (Some English translations have mistranslated the words "I am" to "It is I," or "I am He.")
Now, we have a conundrum. Either Islam is right, and Jesus is not God, nor begotten; or Christianity is right, and Jesus is God, and is begotten. We can't have it both ways. Islam will never hold to a belief that Jesus is God. And Christians will not accept that Jesus is not God, and is not begotten. Therefore, they do not worship the same God.

VERY good question. Why do we fight so much??? (I hope I am not one of the fighters you speak of.)
First off, we all do not have the same God. Some believe in Allah and Budda, some Jesus, some even the stars and moon and sun.
Secondly, I believe that everyone here is closed to each other's religions. I come here and answer/ask questions because I want the truth. I want to know other people's beliefs and why they believe the way they do. Some people however come here just to confirm their own beliefs. They try to force their religion on others because they believe that their religion is the only way and the only truth. I believe that no one has ALL of the truth. However we can try our best to get it.
I hope I helped!! God Bless!!!

We are all trying to find and believe in the same God but unfortunately we are not able to find and believe in that God, because we are struck in our own cocoons and cosy corners. So, we start fighting right from that issue of GOD itself, sadly though.

Some believe in God, some believe in no God,
and others have their own belief as to who God
is or is not: Why do we keep on fighting, well
because we are humans on this earth and as
long as we are here in this imperfect world,
we will always fight for one reason or another.

The problem isn't with who we believe in it's with what we bwlieve in and how some live in this world. My thoughts on life in Iraq, the USA, and Russia might be different than yours but it is a smaller scale than countries vs. countries. We fight for better ways to live in this life. The people here want all people to live the same way and for the economy of a country to be base on the level of work people do not who there leaders are and what is in there country, geographically.

We don' all believe in the same god I believe in a christian God Jesus Christ. He is an all loving God with unconditional love. On the other hand the Qur'an doesn't describe Allah as loving. His characteristic is defined more in terms of judgment than grace. and in terms of power rather than mercy. Allah only loves only those who do good or he deems to do good and follow the daily practices of the Five Pillars. Meaning you have to work your way into heaven. the God of Christianity gives salvation as a free gift of love. Once saved always saved.

Because there are idiots that do not understand what the name "Supreme Being" means. They do not understand that only ONE can be a supreme being, and conversely, that all of the names of the different religions' gods can refer to One GOD...
Good luck! And Happy Turkey Day!
