It is the stupid brainwashed religious bigots who beleive this!
NEVER allow your fear of not being right lead you into being a "religious" person, only true belief should make you follow a religious or spiritual path (and the two can be VERY different!)
The people who you speak of have only been told what they beleive, they don't know!

Sorry, I cannot find any reference to this in the teachings of Jesus Christ and His Apostles. Brainwashed? No. But it does say "Be transformed by the renewing of your mind." In other words, get free of the world's brainwashing. Religious? There are very few rites that were instigated by Jesus Christ and His Apostles. There is baptism, communion, foot washing and a few others, but not that much. Bigots? No bigots can get to Heaven. Much of the teaching in by Jesus Christ and His Apostles is NOT to judge, but to show love, forgiveness and mercy to everyone. Bigotry does not come into it.
A bigot is someone who is prejudiced, uses wild generalisations, uses inflammatory language, and makes claims about people groups based on ignorance of the true facts. I'm sure I can find an example of this. Oh look, there's one. Right at the top of the page.

That is completely untrue.
God only wants people who choose the "correct" religion in heaven. The "correct" religion is normally some variation of your family's or nation's religion. Other religions are the "incorrect" ones.
Choose correctly and you get "eternal life". Choose incorrectly and you get "eternal punishment".
What intelligent being would create a universe with an "eternal punishment" feature??? God must have been cranky that week.

Jesus said that we would be free through Him.
A person becomes free when they accept Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior(into their heart)
That person is no longer condemned to judgement and is no longer enslaved by Satan. Satan does come and try to steal back the person from the salvation that was given to them through Jesus.
Salvation and eternal life are free gifts, you cannot earn them or buy them.
Why would God want you in Heaven? How can a person who rejects God and all that He stands for throughout their entire life and expect to be in Heaven with God? Do you think God will say, "Well you rejected Me, but you can still come in." Absolutely not, "Depart from me you child of the devil, for I never knew you."
The stupid people are the ones who resist God and make their choice to enter the wide and broad gate that leads to destruction. which is the path the world is already on.
God does want you in Heaven with Him, but its up to you if you want that as well. You either accept Him as Lord of you life, or reject Him and follow your selfish desires. Its up to you, your call..

To each person a path shall be given.
To be dead is to be eternally dreaming. Heaven and hell are states of mind.
When a person has a way to believe they are heaven, it shall be their dream.
When a person has no belief, they are lost unto themself and have no peace, only a desire to live even if for just one more day. This is a hell from which they cannot escape.

He doesn't, Sir.
It's the bigot who convinces himself that he has a place in heaven.
I feel really sorry for those bigots, because they'll have a very bad shock awaiting them at that Moment.
Have a nice day.

the same reason you wouldnt want some crazy lunatic in your house. we were created for the glory of God and if your not gonna be up there for Him then why should you be up there? nobody deserves to be in heaven by works or being a ''good person'', we only get to be in heaven if we accept Christ as our Savior and turn to Him.

God isn't "showing His face" because we are being tested! Think He
wants a bunch of rebels back in Heaven?
