No, hair color will not contribute to the spreading of grey hair. Grey hair is determined by genetics. Shaving grey hair will not cause it to 'spread' as mentioned by one the others that answered your question.
Coloring your hair doesn't encourage the growth rate of your hair, grey or other wise. Nor does the old wives tale of pulling out a grey hair 2 more will grow in. nonsense. The only thing coloring your hair will do is cover the grey. It does damage your hair if too much is done at one. time. See your stylist, she/he can help to calm your fears and help you select the best shade or shades for you. good luck

I started getting grey hair at age 12 and did not start coloring until the age of 16 made no difference. I went grey very young as did my grandmother before me (she was white by the age of 19) I was a little older it was a good thing we were blonds

Neither coloring nor shaving your grey hairs will cause the grey to spread. It is merely perception. What happens a person colors their hair. While the color is in, more hairs turn grey, so when the color grows/wears out, you see more, and it can make you think the coloring was the cause.

no. colouring does not promote the growth of grey hair.
it does damage hair, slightly to moderately, depending on the strength of your hair naturally. but your hair will turn grey at a rate usually determined by your genetics.

that may not actual. what's right is that if youin case you defend pulling out your gray hairs you could substitute into with... A) All 2 of your ultimate hairs being black (or blond or something...) or B)no hair. I say bypass blue.

no hs nothing to do with it. if you color your hair ... for example darker... then when grey starts to show... you might notice it more than you would when your hair was lighter
