The big airline companies have amezing discounts if you purchase the ticket in advance.
There are some websites where you are allowed to say how much you want to pay. The problem is you will not know what airline you will use until you pay

travelocity, expedia etc are OK. Malaysia airlines may be worth a try. Also try KLM and Emirates.

kayak.com...but the best option is always the airline ticket agent. You would be amazed what they can do so you will stop bugging them about airfare and seating problems.
