Hot water, a few chopped onions, some salt and pepper then place it in, hold it's head under the water until the bubbles stop then boil for 2 hours.

You do not give it a bath. But take a little warm water and put it on a cloth, and some soap. Try doggie soap, or something animal friendly. Then you take another cloth with just water and rinse the little guy off.Scrub the guinea pig gently with the cloth outside of its cage in a enviroment he or she is familiar with. Running water and putting them suddenly in a tub like structure with water might scare the guinea pig.

First get a little plastic bin big enough for them to stay in, and tall enough so they can't jump out. then place about an inch of water in the bottom of the bin, and slowly lower the guinea pig into the bin. then have some water in a cup, and gently pour the water on it. Make sure all of the water you're using is warm. Shampoo it with rabbit, or guinea pig shampoo, and SCRUB SCRUB SCRUB. (not hard) then rinse with some more warm water, and make sure there's no more soap on your guinea pig. dry it off with a warm towel. *NOTE* don't submerge your guinea pig's head in water.
They are VERY squirmy with baths...GOOD LUCK

Hi there...Bathing is quite stressful for guinea pigs, and most guinea pigs rarely need bathing, if ever.

The exception to the rule is if your guinea pig gets lice or some other ectoparasite. In this case your veterinarian may recommend bathing and will recommend the type of shampoo to be used. If you are showing your guinea pig, you will probably want to bathe him or her before a show. Otherwise, unless your guinea pig's fur gets badly soiled (e.g. with urine or feces or some other messy thing your guinea pig has gotten into) baths are probably not even necessary, especially if you regularly brush your guinea pigs.

If you do decide to give your guinea pig a bath, you may be able to find a shampoo designed especially for guinea pigs (cavies). Otherwise, it is best to use a mild shampoo formulated for kittens, and some owners use baby shampoo. Some people will use baby wipes to gently bathe their guinea pigs.

Use a shallow pan of warm (not too hot!) water, and lather your guinea pig's body only. You do not want to get shampoo or water in the eyes or ears. Make sure you rinse very well. Towel dry your guinea pig as best as you can, and then make sure your guinea pig stays in a nice warm place until he or she is completely dry.

Do not soak the whole guinea pig in water!!!
Just put warm water running and slightly wetten his fur in the sink, and,do no let go of him/her!You can put a little warm water on his/her head too but you dont wash there. You take just a simple baby shampoo or a store-bought guinea pig shampoo and then was and rinse his body,no where near the eyes!

Then, wrap your guinea pig in a warm towel and slightly rub his/her fur until dry..
Oh yes,and please note to use a small sink.

I never bathed one. I would guess warm water and small amount of Dawn Dish Soap. Rinse well and keep warm until dry. I have used a Hair Dryer (Low Heat and Fan) on animals and birds as long as they not scared.
