Guys, what is the difference between calling a girl 'hot' or 'pretty'?

This is easy....
When a guy calls a girl hot...this isnt necessarily a compliment...it means he would like to hit it.
When he says she is pretty... this is more of a compliment, as he probably means she is attractive, as well as classy.

Most of the time when a guy calls a girl "Hot", he is thinking with his south of his brain! When a guy thinks of a girl as pretty then he is probably paying closer attention to her personality along with her looks!

I think both are compliments, but being called hot is more of a sexy flirty type of girl and being called pretty is more like a natural beauty.

i think that when a guy says a girl is hot, it means hes really attracted to her
and when a guy says a girl is pretty that means hes just being nice and doesnt think shes beat but not good looking enough for him to give a second look.

when guys says a girl is hot, they are not always being polite, they are letting their emotions ( you know which ones ) get int he way of their brain, yes she most likely is hot, but he is most likely saying it in a sexual way.
when a guy says a girl is pretty, he is being more polite and using his actual head to think an be nice, ( he most likely inside says man she is HOT ) but he has respect and says what is politically correct.. and respectful...

pretty implies nice looking as in pretty eyes
hot implies sexually attactive as in a hot bod

i think when a guy says pretty he is being respectfull and thinking with his heart. when he says hot on the other hand i believe he is thinking with um..uh..well you get the idea.
