I agree that you should just stay friends.... at least until you get into high school. 8th grade is a little young to be dating a Sophmore, but once you are a freshman and he is a junior it will me more acceptable. You have to realize that while you are growing up........your parents still see you as their baby. Yes, it sucks, but it is true.

Take things VERY SLOWLY....I know you feel like you are "falling" for this guy, but just remember that at your age....
chances are he will be just the first of many crushes.

If your parents would not aprove, then you shouldnt aprove either. Oddly enough parents are a lot smarter than they look. I had to find that out the hard way. try just being friends, because things just seem to turn out better that way.

YOU ARE IN THE VERY CRITICAL SITUTATION. THAT'S ALL I CAN SAY. I DON'T KNOW WAHT TO SUGGETS. I GUESS WAITING IS THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN GET OVER THIS. I HAVEN'T HEARD THE OTHER SIDE OF THE STORY, WHICH IS FROM HIM. SO, I DON'T JUST TRUST ANYONE.
