I have tried everything from internet dating sites to church, yet I can't find anyone who shares my interests or is appealing to me. I am attracted to petite women between the ages of 24-40, who are into art, poetry, nature and also enjoy sex. I am looking for a friend first, but also a soul mate. I have been to prison and have a lot of tattoos and this has the tendency of scaring off the woman I am most interested in. I'm not a violent person and the crime I went to prison for was not violent; it was a stupid mistake I made when I was 18.

I guess you should broaden your possibilities. If you truly mean a friend first but discount women who aren't packaged the way you want - you may be missing out on the love of your life.
What if the woman has tattoos? loves sex? Is adventuresome? has a great smile? Has done some time too? Is a little older or a little younger? Hard to attract someone who doesn't judge when you seem to begin by judging.
