Definitely committed the sin of "gluttony" this evening!

If you celebrated Thanksgiving today, what were you most thankful for?

Thankful beyond measure for my amazing spouse, and our beautiful, intelligent, generous children.

For a job I love, and a house I can afford.

For the sun on my face, the wind in my hair, the breath in my lungs and every beat of my heart.

What were you thankful for Chicky?

We are atheists so we have a traditional "no-prayer but what are you thankful for" thing. Haha. This was heard: "I have a job", "The Nintendo Wii", "That I'm not in the dorm", "That I'm going to EAT" and mine "That my family gets along well and we really love each other"

For health and life and loved ones and food and clothing and shelter and being born in a good place where you don't starve by age 2. Humbled, thankful, sad not everyone can say the same.

Mostly I was thankful that I prepared it all last week. Tried using coffee creamer in the squash that was a great idea. I think God He gave me a brain that likes new stuff. This troubles my wife a little.

Hahaha...well phrased question. :-) I guess if I had to pick one thing to be most thankful for today, it'd be the good ol' foil pack of two Alka-Seltzer tablets. I definitely overate too.

im thankful that i met this guy. he's really too old for me ( so logically, im NOT dating him) but he is so connected w/ God and Jesus and he is just so totally awesome. He's really helped me get closer to God

i'm also thankful for my parents. this may sound corny, but i am. my dad hurt his back today and i was just thinking "what if i didnt have parents and i lived out on the street?"

which leads me to be very thankful for my house...with heat.

and so many other things, but i have to go to bed, srry ^_^

may God bless and keep you (alive) during the holidays and forever

Dispensation is not something to be granted lightly. Do you have some discretionary money?
