I have a best buy store card, but I want to apply for the reward zone mastercard and use it at other places then just best buy, and then just cancel the store card so I dont have to have excess credit cards sitting around in my wallet. Is there anyway I could like "upgrade" to the mastercard? Or would I have to apply for that and just cancel my best buy card?

two totally different cards, one is n in house financing card, another is a bank card that has a best buy logo on it with offer for best buy consumers, in fact you might not be able to transfer your best buy balance to your best buy mastercard, read the fine print and call for questions before applying.

Only if they offer a balance transfer bigger than your existing balance.
