Telling people what? That you like him or that he likes you? Cos if hes saying he likes you, then duh?! but if hes saying you like him then...umm...depends on if he is a sincere person or a jerk? If you like him then he is prolly sincere to u!

I'd say yes he seemed thrilled that you like him at least enough to tell other people. Most guys tell everyone when someone likes them that they think they might like back. If he didn't like you at all he would probably be ashamed to tell anyone that you like him. I'd say you've got yourself a crush return!
