You don't need the Old testament to tell you that. People who "own" land are great pretenders. The land will still be there when they are gone. And if you can't take it with you it is a lease.

The old "testimate" is quite right, when we die, we don't own a thing. Do you live in England per chance and if so, please feel free to criticize it. Anyway, people who own their own homes look after them and try not to live like animals in Beiruit.

The term home owner is just bad semantics for temporary holder. We cannot take the land with us on our journey following our deaths.

In my fathers house are many mansion no mention of land just a mansion so the bible is right you can't own land but you sure can have a floating mansion

It's call the old TESTAMENT and home owners don't own the land unless it is freehold, they own the house on the land!

Technically, this universe belongs to the creator. He owns everything in it. We just get to use what belongs to him for a while when we are living, but after we die, somebody else gets to use it. It's nice of him not to charge us any rent, isn't it?
