NO!!
OMG!! S.O.S.!!(same old $h*t) The dinosaurs were here then the prehistoric man walked across the Bering Straits during the last Ice Age (15,000 to 30,000 years ago)and became the oldest KNOWN inhabitants of the North American continent. The Europeans came, saw and conquered the Native Americans (cruelly and unjustly). There were no laws on immigration at that time. The Europeans formed a government, voted, elected leaders, passed laws, built this country from a wilderness. Those people passed a law later on immigration. That law says you must enter by legal means. Documents must be filed, legally processed, they must pass citizenship tests and be sworn in under oath before a person can be a citizen. It is an expensive, time consuming process. It is that way for a reason. People must be screened, their criminal records checked, medically checked for disease.

I am a Native American. See that word "AMERICAN". That means I am a citizen of the USA. I am a natural born citizen. Those people who's ancestors came here are natural born citizens, too. They are NOT immigrants. You might be, but they aren't. Immigrants are people who were not born citizens. They are from another country. If they become citizens and have children here, their children are NATURAL BORN CITIZENS, not immigrants, either. Immigrants have been welcome in the USA. But our country can not take 800,000 immigrants every year and have the resources to sustain that many people. We must reduce immigration of all kinds back to 200,000 people per year or this country will be another third world nation by 2050. I don't think even the illegals would like that.

The Native Americans have no special rights since they too almost certainly crossed over from Asia, making them as much the descendants of immigrants as anyone else.

As for the current immigration issue, if a person wants to come here, work, settle, become an American and add to our melting pot culture then I for one invite them to apply for entry via legal means.

So what then gives us (US Citizens) the right to restrict others? We were born here, thus making this OUR country. Other people were born other places. They have a country too. If they don't like their country perhaps they should consider trying to make improvements. If that isn't an option, or if they still want to come here, see the first part of my answer. But we are under no special obligation to let anyone in. That would be like if you and I bought nice homes in a nice neighborhood, actually more like our families bought the homes some years ago and worked to make nice neighborhood, and then somebody driving by said to themselves "Hey I like that home. I think I'll just move in." Well, sorry pal but this home is already taken. Now there might be some vacancies on the next block, but property values have gone up over the years. We were lucky. We inherited these homes. Our families bought in when the land was still cheep. That's just the way it is.

Yes, it is. Why it is that everybody says this is the melting pot? Surely this is a nation of a great racial diversity. The only people which really are natives are the American Indians. Everybody else has ancient roots from immigrants.

Yes, we are a nation of immigrants. Most of us have someone illegal in our family tree even if we trace our ancestors all the way back to the Mayflower. I don't recall ever reading anything about the Pilgrims having visas or permission from the Native Americans for the them to come and take over the land. But now that we're here and have been here only a few hundred years we think we own it!

News flash: Only GOD owns land. All of us who are here today - citizen, legal or illegal alien - are here only by the grace of God!

i prefer to put in my 2 cents nicely worth right here, of the posts that I surely have examine right here, all and sundry of you have a valid factor. sure, united statesa., technically, is an immigrant united states of america, inspite of the undeniable fact that, the factor that it became our ancestors that got here right that's what makes us such. this is right to a factor. the factor is, our ancestors have been the immigrants, their toddlers (except they got here around besides) in the event that they have been born right here, are individuals via delivery. i'm close by American via delivery, inspite of the undeniable fact that i became observed and raised as white, i'm nonetheless close by American. i'm Blackfoot, Cherokee, Dutch, Irish, Scotish and German (little or no of the final 4). the ecu blood in me is going back to my ancestors and that's a element of my molecular makeup. I surely have a chum of mine that became born in Chile. She says that she is Chilean, she speaks Spanish as her close by language. human beings assume she is Latin because of the fact of her speech. via delivery, she is Chilean, via blood she is German/Italian, and he or she would not talk it yet she does know it. She additionally speaks wonderful English besides, yet with an accessory. She lives in Las Vegas, NV and works at a on line casino. the factor i'm making is, once you come back right here to the US as an person or as a newborn, even once you're naturalized, you grow to be an American-immigrant. inspite of the undeniable fact that, your toddlers, born right here do no longer ought to deal with that, they're computerized individuals and don't ought to instruct something, entitled to each and all the rights of each and every organic born American. this is a risky difficulty and one that in case you look in any respect the different countries in this worldwide, no person else has the immigration issue like the US does. No different united states of america can unlawful immigrants come into their united states of america and assume to stay. So why can we? Even people who're illegally getting into this united states of america from Mexico, if we've been to purpose and try this to their united states of america we would be thrown in penitentiary and despatched back. So who's being honest right here? in case you prefer to come back right here and stay and artwork, then accomplish that legally. If no longer, flow homestead.

If any group has a claim on more rights at this point in history it is black Americans because their recent ancestors built more than their fair share of the country for bed and board (at best).
