SOME Muslims do celebrate Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving is not a religious holiday, it is a national holiday. Muslims don't celebrate Christmas and Easter or other Christian holidays like that, actually only Christian religions celebrate those holidays, but some Muslims DO celebrate Thanksgiving.

It has nothing to do with being Muslim, they celebrate it because they are American. Its the same reason some people celebrate Memorial Day or Independence Day. Many Muslims don't celebrate holidays outside of their religious ones, but some do.

We are able to, but most of us don't. Thanksgiving is not really a religious holiday, so there is no problem if a Muslim decides to celebrate Thanksgiving unless you want us to idol the turkey before eating it ^_^

It's celebrated all over the world. I am a US born muslim and my inlaws are in Pakistan. They call every year to wish me Happy Thanksgiving, and I wish them one too. We celebrate it. It's a day to give thanks. It's not a religious holiday. I am a muslim woman, and I just spent the day with my Christian mother for this holiday. BTW, my uncle can make a MEAN Tuna and Pasta Salad. Another thing, he and my cousin cook all the time. My aunt, his wife, never cooks, and that is their thing.

I am a muslim and most of my muslims friends living in the USA celebrate thanksgiving.
I love this festival of thanking God and family getting together. Since my family is not very religious but I heard word of thanks from my youngest son and I kept thanking God for my family and for the bounty.

No, we don't. We live in the US, and we don't celebrate it, still we wish others happiness with what they enjoy.

Besides, Muslims don't need a special day to THANK God on. We thank God on and on all the time.

Peace.
PS. happy thanks giving to you.
