This is what Irans President announced after they aquired Nuculear (sp?) capabilities. A hydrogen Bomb could be detonated 200 miles from the eastern seaboard, 100 miles in the air and the electromagnetic pulse would fry all the microchips in North America, sending us technologically back into the 19th century.
Also he thinks it is his destiny to cause the circumstances that would usher in the final Emam (Prophet?) and end life as we know it on planet earth. Does thia have any spiritual significance to you? And if you are an atheist...what are you thoughts on this as well.

It has a great amount of significance to me. I am a Christian. All this just goes to show that end days are upon us and the 12th Imam is actually what is known to Christians, as the anti-christ. The least being the spirit of the anti-christ, but there are so many similarities of the anti-christ and the 12th imam, that it is just reasonable to figure them as one in the same. The Iranian President is a huge threat because of his religious beliefs, many do not realize that chaotic earth is what he desires, as he feels he is ushering in the imam, so that, to him is a good thing. Therefore, he is not afraid to be bombed or to bomb.

Imagine a world without Israel or America?

*closes eyes, imagines hard and smiles dreamily*

It's so PEACEFUL!

I think all the countries in the world would be for it except for about two.

But seriously... I am an athiest. So, this man's ambition to herald the end of life on earth using nuclear weapons does not impact me spiritually, however it scares the **** out of me pragmatically. What do YOU think it means when a fanatic with nuclear weapons states his intention to destroy the world? A person who truly beleives it is his religious duty will be so bloated with power that nothing will stop him. I'm terrified. I do not beleive in a god, but I very strongly beleive that human life (and the life of other living things) is noble and forward-moving and always striving for improvement and growing, and to destroy it is a horrible act. No matter what, humankind must survive. We are all that we have.

Our only hope is that America's CIA can assasinate the Iranian President and any other key figures before the world is destroyed. A little pruning of America's (quieter) nuclear fanatics would be in order, too.

I think it is a terrible thought and any one who would plot out such a crime, has got to be mentally off balance. Insane is a better description. Why would anyone think of that? What good would it do ?? To destroy people who are innocent of any wrong doings. Sounds like this guy is trying to play God. I have no idea what Thia means. These actions would cause much suffering all over the world. Pray to God , this does not happen and the evil will see the light. This country is destructive and needs to interupted. There are all types of maniac's in this world. They need to be stopped. That is why America is trying to prevent this horror. God forgive them, for they know not what they do.

Imagine a world WITHOUT governments as we know them. A WHOLE world obeying God's laws. And I do NOT mean Allah and his suicide bombers.
Revelation in the Bible states that False Religion is at the heart of all our troubles. F.R. deals with governments and big business. Both are mentioned in Revelation, but not given the BAGGING that F.R. is.
A whole religion controlling millions of people, some of them very good, can be condemned because of their failure to control the few causing death and destruction.
And we all forget...God has the power to simply prevent any atomic weapon going off...IF there was a danger of it affecting the "operation" of the earth. And also if good people are killed wrongfully, God has the power to resurrect them from death [ Rev. 20; 12,13]
So we should never forget that HE is aware of everything that is going on and will act very soon to sort it out. Its called ARMAGEDDON.

You are sleeping, he is just talking and USA and Israel are actually doing it. Both USA and Israel are the most aggressive countries in the world, attacking and killing millions. These two countries use cluster bombs and will use nuke too. Last week. I met this Lebanese girl who was injured by an Israeli bomb and she was crying and asking when is Israel going to stop the massacres.
I apologize if I am generalising, I know that most of the Americans are good people, even if the policies are killing. The 50 % atleast fgor peace.

You're on the wrong roll, I don't know where you heard that but you're on the wrong roll. if what you said is true then Israel will be the one who's going to pay instead of Lebanon and Iraq. This is no longer about spiritual ,this is about power . ...And as for my dear observer , hun, can you please not over generalising AMERICA? it hurts :P

yes he might say this to shore up support from his own people who are sick and tired of American/Israeli aggression but he knows one false move outside his borders would mean the end of Iran as we know it
