Be friends first!! Dont just think you can dive into a relationship and expect it to work. Get to know eachother really well. I met my fiance in a online chat room. We were friends first for a few years, now we're planning on getting married soon. I live in Canada and hes in the USA. We get to see eachother in person every few months, and talk on the phone everynight and use our webcams as much as possible. So this new girl you've met could end up being someone you want to spend your life with. Just take it slow. Nothing just happens overnight. As far as wanting to see eachother. Dont just think either you or her have to move to be with eachother. Long distance relationships do and can work out. All depends on you and the other person. If it does turn out that you want to spend your life with this girl, theres options. You can have her move to the US to be with you, or you move there. Right now, I'm waiting on my fiance visa to move to the USA, so thats an option for you. I dont know how the government in the Phillipines works, but thats something you can look into. hmm...the funny thing is my dad and mom were the same way. my dad lived in VA and my mom in Manila. They pretty much corresponded for a year until he could save up enough money and visit her and eventually she came home with him.
maybe you wouldn't have to quit, just get extended leave.
