You ask a question here, it's open to all. Typical that you seek to control what you don't like to confront. Thing is, I DO care if some busybody gets me out of my armchair or stops me in the street out of a sense that I am wrong about everything and they are right about everything. So I don't care if you don't want to read what I have to say, that's not the sort of forum this is.
And don't evangelize. Distrtibute food parcels, do something for the homeless, drug addicts, refugees, battered women, children with cancer, elderly day care or something that is of actual value to other people, and not just your ego. We'll choose your way of seeing things if we want to. Otherwise just go away.

Nothing is better than knocking on doors and respectfully talking to people about a certain topic from the Bible, or on the street, or in the doctor's office, to workmates, and to schoolmates, and even family members with different views. The main thing is to watch your own conduct cause people notice that first and everybody hates a hypocrite. When u can show people that many of the horrible things happening around the world today were prophecied long ago by Jesus Christ at Matt 24, Mrk 13, and Luke 21, by Paul at Romans 1; 20- 37 and 2 Timothy 3; 1- 5, and Peter at 2 Peter 3; 3First of all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. 4They will say, "Where is this 'coming' he promised? Ever since our fathers died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation." 5But they deliberately forget that long ago by God's word the heavens existed and the earth was formed out of water and by water. 6By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. 7By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.
The best thing to remember is that there is much joy in this work. It reaffirms your faith and keeps it fresh in your own mind. Keep enduring and it brings much blessings.

I have not been called to be a missionary, however I continue to pray that my actions and words would glorify the Lord and reflect His will.
Of course I am not perfect. I stumble and fall every day - but not willingly. And I'm sure that's what makes the difference. People are always flabbergasted when I admit responsibility for my actions. (my children especially). It often opens dialogue. When it does, it often opens peoples eyes when they find out that as a Christian, the first thing I will admit is that I am a sinner and not perfect. Next they are also surprised when I tell them I that even though I am a Christian, I have no right to judge them. What a concept. From there, discussion leads to salvation by grace.
On a practical note: I am a member of our Church's worship band, and every Sunday my prayer is that our music will bring the congregation into a place of worship that will change lives and attitudes. So far - so good. :)
Blessings!

I would carry a sign saying, "You can experience love no matter what you believe in."
Love comes from the individual, not some outside source.
That is the Gospel of Laughing Libra.
But I agree with Drgood and Jeff, people who don't believe in the "Gospel" are too busy enjoying life to try to push their beliefs on others.

My dear friend,
Congratulations on hearing the calling within your heart, desiring to share the Love God with your fellow man.
Now, from my very limited and humble experience, i will try to share with you what I have learnt.
For starters, you have know a few principals prior to making any decisions, that way you will be on the right track.
- First & foremost, it has to be done with Love and zeal towards your fellow man, and such love must initiate in your heart out of your Love for God, that this Love He gave you will overflow to everyone else around you...Always with LOVE!
- Secondly, you need to understand that Evangelism is not our own doing, but rather God's first and last work. We are nothing but mere tools in His Holy hands, directing us where He needs us. Always depending on His Holy Spirit to speak through us, and we must always ask Him to guide us and speak on our tounges. Otherwise, our work is futile if we depend on our own knowledge and pride.
Now...with these 2 principals in place, a Loving tools in the hands of God, you seek the opportunity to cast seeds of God's love in the hearts of your fellow man...Only casting seeds! And once you leave it, God will take over and will do what is best, and it is through His Holy Spirit that these people will be guided.
Also, as many people have said, you MUST have your life as a living evangelical proof of God's Grace and Love. You must ALWAYS work towards your own salvation and always seeking to Grow in Christ.
Where do you start? Ask this very same question to God, and ask Him to guide you, and seek the directions He shows you...If you need any help, let us know.
May OUr Loving Lord Guide you and protect you on your ever-rewarding journey. God Bless :-)

Go out and evangelize as Jesus did! Through example.
Jesus taught by actions, outward signs that gave Grace to people.
To evangelize we need to act as Jesus did.
75 % of all communication in the human person occurs non verbally.

Jehovah's Witnesses preach from house to house in compliance with Jesus' final command to his disciples: "Go and make disciples of people of all the nations..." (Matt. 28:19, 20) All of Jehovah's Witnesses have a share in this work. It is a Christian requirement.

Evangelize by being Christ in the eyes of the world. Show them the love of Christ. It's the only way. The world is full of lost, suffering, sad people who need love. Love them. Don't pretend to love them. Really love them, whether they are Christian or not.
The best way to get answers you really don't want is to ask not to get them. LOL

I would do what St. Francis said to do...evangelize by how you live. Proclaim the Gospel in your life.
As St. Francis said: "Preach the Gospel...and if necessary, use words."
