I know all familys have problems, you get mad at your parents or siblings and what not. But overall, do you like your family and get along with them most of the time and you feel like you really belong in your family?

yes. my parents are both pretty nice and easygoing, and my sister is nice when we aren't fighting. i feel like i do belong in my family becuase we are like a puzzle, we are all different but we are perfect when fit together : ) 9sorry for how corny that sounds)

Right at this moment and for the last 2 months, NO, I don't like my family much and I was thinking about introducing my boyfriend to my parents in about a month before Christmas but now I almost feel embarrassed to even let them meet because they are so damn loose lipped and speak before they think whats coming out of their mouths and its dum stuff. Hey, I'm 52 years old and live about an hour and half away and most of my family lives within 15 minutes away from them. I have been living away for over 35 years but here recently they both get on my nerves so I stay away. I know, your thinking, thats sorry, you have only one set of parents and do the whole HONER thing but hey I deserve respect myself and their never to old to learn either ! ! !

I wish I lived with my family... My wife took our 3 girls to live with her parents almost 3 years ago... We're still friends and get along real well, but I believe she thinks that I don't belong in our family... Personally, I feel like I belong with them, but am being denied the opportunity to do so... Although I firmly believe in God, there are times when I wonder where I DO belong...

Sure all families have probs but nothing they can't get over. Even if it is a touchy subject family will always look beyond that so yeah even though my family drives me soooooo..crazy at times I love them more than ne thing on earth and would ne thing for them as they would do for me. So of course I feel like I belong. Who doesn't feel like they belong to their family? I'm not trying to sound mean or ne thing but that's sad if ppl don't feel like belong to their own family.

my family always been close. i have 3 older brothers. my youngest brother that's 3 years older than me, had to drag me around all the time....i was always with someone since i'm the only girl and the youngest child. we always had fights. when we got into trouble like fights, we were punished, we were sent to our rooms and think about what we've done. if we didn't really care about all that, we didn't have any dinner (hey that's how it was in the 80's. it wasn't abuse or neglect)....no tv, no nintendo, no phone, no friends......nothing.
but now that all the kids are grown and married, me too, we appreciate each other more.
i hope you guys will get along soon. you need family to help you up when you fall.
here's a hint: EVEN IF THEY'RE MEAN TO YOU OR HATE YOU, KEEP BEING NICE TO THEM....TELL THEM THEY HURT YOU....or something.

I get along just fine with my family. Of course there are times when you feel terribly irritated by the things family members do or say, but it's just part of life with family. You can't expect everything to be hunky dory. Nothing is perfect. But family is family, and you can pretty much count of them in times of need :)

Overall yes my family is great we get along well and have alot of laughs...
Occassionally there are individual problems and frictions but by and large we all get along... In my family we have come to the conclusion, politics and religion are taboo topics best left out of casual conversation thus we avoid alot of the friction..

Absolutely ! We are a close knit family. Even as my parents have passed away we still missed them a lot. We stll celebrate their birthdays and death anniversaries. We are 8 in the family and whenever one of us has to celebrate an occassion we make it a point to be all present. I think this is a rarity nowadays. I thank God for this blessing !

My family consists of my kids and their kids and of course I deeply love them all, the rest of my family can kiss my a.. This doesnot include my mother since she passed away a year ago.
