`If you believe Iran will be content with nuclear power you are a FOOL/ They got the reactor but have no nuclear power ,WHY? Because they have not been able to build the bomb.I still firmly believe the WMDs are in Syria. just think what the middle east would be like if Syria & Iran joined forces. That is why we MUST help Iraq defend them self.

Sorry you are tired of hearing about the war in Iraq 'Lucky' , it probably makes the deaths of all those men meaningless . If it wasn't for the efforts of these men and women over there fighting you could be studying only the koran and learning how to blow up a buddist or an eskimo as these people aren't muslim .
Talking about that , you don't hear of the jihad declaring war on the Chinese , do you think maybe they have second thoughts about the population size of China alone. they would have their clocks twisted really bad
Give thanks you live where you can print your spew that is called treason in Iraq , Iran , Saudi Arabia , and other muslim nations , you would lose a hand or maybe your head .
Think about this while watching football and eating your pumpkin pie and safely home all cuddley .

Yes, it's a shame that we are under a real threat from Iran, but why does the USA always have to be the referee?

However, I don't think it would be wise to immediatly pull out of Iraq. If we did, the innocent civilian population would perish and the country would literally fall apart and could possibly be a threat to the bordering countries. There's no easy solution, but as a democrat, I think totally pulling out immediatly would be a grave error. I do think we need more soldiers here at home and we need to work on our own homeland security before we attempt to do anything with Iran.

The current leadership in Iran is going to prove to be very dangerous to the region and most likely world peace. But I feel this is something that the United States should not handle. Let the UN take care of it and leave the US out of it. For all the puffing and headline politicians at the UN, let them prove their worth - of course, which won't happen. The United Nations is a failed organization that hasn't done anything worthwhile for decades. Look at Rwanda.
The US should only be involved with Iran when the threat is directed at our troops or we respond to defend an ally.
Isreal will most likely take direct action against Iran, and be condemned by the UN for it, just as it was for destroying Iraqi's nuclear program in the 1980s.
The world is going to prove to be a very dangerous place in the next couple of decades and the US needs to insure we are prepared to defend against the threats that will be presented.

Old Rummy said "You go to war with the army you have, not the army you'd like to have," or words to that effect. We don't have and haven't had a force to make a conventional military solution to the Iran problem a viable alternative. So we approach it through different means, which are likely to be better means anyway. Ever seen the five-sided puzzle palace? Not to mention other, non-military, parts of the government. There are plenty of folks left over to work on the Iran issue.

I don't think we have anything to worry about if we help Iran make a safe nuclear reactor for peaceful use and that is what they are asking for help with im all for it.Israel already have nuclear weapons but they are still hidden and they deny even having weapons of mass destruction.I say let them have nuclear power and give them the expert help from the IAEA they need to make the reactor safe like the rest of the modern world currently enjoys.

The US must still focus on its domestic affairs even when it has troops in Iraq. The UN must warn Iran on its nuclear arms build-up before the US made a drastic move.

Yes, Iran is a real threat to the U.S and the Mid East. But I am tired of war and don't want to hear any killing.
