michele wie is undoubtedly a talented golfer...she is young and lacks the mental toughness that the pro game requires but that will come in time...those who criticize her dont understand her impact on the game in terms of her appeal and likeability to the golfing crowds and more than likely are jealous of her beauty and rich potential

Wie is an excellent 17 year old female golfer. That doesn't mean that she is the same caliber golfer as the pros on the PGA tour.
I think that she has been pushed and promoted too much in her young life and will burn out way too soon. This is due primarily to greed on the part of her parents and those around her that are grooming and training her. It is also due to corporate greed.
When Michelle is able to win on the women's tour consistently, then maybe she should get the occasional exemption to a men's tour event.

Naw, she's happy being a last-place loser as long as those big fat Nike checks keep coming.
That, in a nutshell, is why she will never be the "female Tiger Woods". Tiger cares about winning first and then the megabucks follow. Wie doesn't seem to mind finishing dead last over and over and over now that she has money. I wonder if she can even remember the last time she actually won something?

I don't get it, she's just having fun. So what's the problem? She hasn't won on LPGA Tour, but in 7 events ended up 15th on the money list and has posted more than 12 top-10 finishes in her short career.
I enjoy watching her play...saw her three times...and she's awesome. I have no problem with her playing on other tours, heck she draws crowds. Just like when Johnny Bench plays in a Champions Tour event or when Mark Rypien played in a PGA Tour event. They had no chance of doing well, and didn't. But they drew crowds.
Michelle is a girl having fun. What's the problem with that.

She is wasting peoples time. She isn't even close anymore of making the cut. The guys who are entered in those events all have a chance to finish in the top ten. Sure sometimes they hav e a bad week but they are not just trying to make the cut but win. Michelle Wies whole focus is to make the cut. Now it is a goal and at least she has them, she is out of her league. She is embarrassing herself. Maybe when she stops folding on the LPGA tour she might make a cut on a 3rd rate pga tour.

I'm sick and tired of this girl taking up sponsor exemptions that men could use. Not only is she a joke, but so is her agent! She can't even make the cut on the mens tour and when she finally is getting it together on the womens tour, her agent fires her caddie! She'll be out of the game before you know it and I couldn't care less.
Have her win a womens event first then talk, even then, she doesn't justify being near the stature of Annika, Lorena or even Dottie.
SHE'S A PLAIN JOKE!

Should Morgan Pressel and Natalie Gulbis, Natalie is pretty but she hasn't done anything on the course.Michelle is trying too hard, No way could I beat Tiger, he could spot me 20 strokes and I'd still lose by at least 10, would I like to play him? You bet your life I would, everyday, anyplace.

I'm getting sick of all the attention this girl is getting! She hasn't won a tournament on the women's tour and she's trying to compete with the men. It's a shame b/c the spot she's taking should belong to someone on the men's tour trying to make an honest living.
She's a freakshow....but if she was 18...I'd do her.

She needs to play with the women and actually win before she tries to compete against the men. There was a reason Tiger Woods played with kids his own age growing up. He learned how to win and that set him up for the success he has had.
