You might be wondering what I'm still doing up. Well I couldn't sleep because I've been thinking about all this stuff. Anyways, everyone has different methods of ending a relationship. The majority of guys would say that you shouldn't even talk to your exes once your in a new relationship. The majority of girls would say that there is nothing wrong with it. I think this is because most guys and girls view relationships differently. Girls tend to be more "sentimental" about things. Ever wonder why women always want to keep EVERYTHING around such as, old pictures, antiques, clothes, and all kinds of junk they will never use? And most guys would rather throw something away if they haven't used it in a year? I believe it has a lot to do with how we are designed. Women are genetically "programmed" (sorry to any feminists) to care for they're young, i.e. comforting a child, fixing "boo-boos", and just being on a superior "emotional" realm. Guys are "programmed" to seek a mate, protect, and hunt. True, as we evolve many of these genetic codes have become unnecessary, and seem to have begun changing. However, many of these are still intact. Aside from the crash-genetics lesson, I do actually have a point here. Girls usually hold on to the memories and cherish them. Guys would rather forget them and move on. You, in particular, seem to be able to hold on to the good aspects that you and your exes can still share, while it seems that others are spiteful and almost write their exes off as a way to hurt them. As far as your new relationship, you need to be very cautious of this new guys feelings. In order to keep friendships with past lovers you need to make him feel totally comfortable with the notion. You need to be honest and make him 100% trusting before you put him in an extremely vulnerable position. The main reason one would see the idea of staying friends with an ex as wrong, would be caused by the fear of losing you to someone whom you are already emotionally connected to. It's up to you to give your new boyfriend no reason to doubt your intentions. It will take a lot of work and understanding on both parts to make this possible. If you find someone who is willing to accept you being friends with not one, but two, exes then you have found someone who is willing to put his ego aside, and totally trust you. From another perspective, one might see your "hanging on" to exes as indecision. If you don't mind an absurd analogy, it's sort of like getting a brand new car with all the bells and whistles, yet keeping your two broken down cars parked in the driveway just in case the new car doesn't work out, so you can repair one of the old ones which you are already comfortable with. Anyways, I guess a good question to ask is, "Would you be o.k. with him being friends with two of his exes?". If so, just remember to put yourself in his shoes before doing things such as going to visit an ex, one on one, or asking him to come along. I hope this information can assist you in your future endeavors, good luck.

Sometimes the answers just suck.
Maybe it's because the question sucks, or maybe it's because Yahoo Answers sucks.
Here are your options:
1: Delete the question. it will be gone, but none of the loosers will have gotten ten points.
2: Leave the question up, don't pick a best answer, don't get five points for picking a best answer, go to the bottom of the page, and vote "no Best Answer." hope enough other people agree with you. Other people will not, because everyone on here can vote for their own question anyway.
3: Forget about that question, and ask again, perhaps rewording the question, or putting it in a different category for clarity, to get more answers, or whatever, and hope a real answer comes up.

Well chances are you wont get a good answer if you repost it but I think thats your only option. It will be put up for a vote, and unfortunately some lucky sap so slapped an answer up there in the hopes of a pair of points is going to get a bonus. Sorry you didn't get what you wanted.
It's hard when people go with their guts and assume. I think this Answers forum is more for those that intend to think it through and not just try to make a few points. I have more respect for people that have a higher percentage of "Best Answers". Means they are more likely to take their time.

I don't know what your question was, but by the sounds of this one it probably deserved the crap you got!
You sound completly normal and not bitter at all! Who cares what a bunch of random strangers with a computer think of you?!?
You know who you are and what you do, so don't let other people influence you in a negative way.
If there is no best answer, just don't pick one and I'd say your question will get lost in the millions of others...it's not like people are going to go searching for it

You've got to realize that nobody here knows you. They can only go by what you present in your question and details. So if you did not provide enough information, or presented your question badly, then you can't fault anybody for jumping to conclusions.
Second, namecalling just makes you look bad, honey. Sinking to that level is a reflection of your character. I would hope that in real life you're better than that.

What was your question? (The one where you received the bad responses?)
I think you can ask the forum to choose a "Best Answer" for you.

I can't really say how to keep it online except to reask it. And about picking a best answer... makes sense to me.

You can either extend your question time, or choose the no best answer option.
