Keeping gilfriend, flirting with girls and intimate relationship with girls outside marriage all are forbidden for true Muslims. Because, whenever a guy is alone with a girl, Satan joins there as the third one. And most of the so called "love" relationship leads to evil and Haram deeds, such as being alone with a girl, touching, kissing and ultimately having sex.

And who are "true" Muslims, I'd like to ask? I would posit that it's those who believe Allah is God, and Muhammed is His messenger. SFNDX is right concerning Conservative Islam, but the truth is there are many branches of Islam, and most of these hold a different opinion. I know many good Muslims who have a girl/boy friend. Age is not important; it is the nature of the relationship. One must be chaste, although the degree of affection allowed varies with the sect and with the times.
