Is he the actual Devil? Of course not. But he is under the influence of the Devil and his evil minions because Rupert Murdock is a chief human player in this ungodly world system that seeks to keep people focused on the materialistic and temporal gains that a person might achieve in this life while denying that one day we will all have to stand before our Creator and give an account of ourselves and how we lived our lives.

2 Corinthians 4:3 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled only to those who are perishing. 4 In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

1 John 2:15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world--the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride in possessions--is not from the Father but is from the world. 17 And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.

Romans 14:11 for it is written, "As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God." 12 So then each of us will give an account of himself to God.

Revelation 20:11 Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. From his presence earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them. 12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done. 13 And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, according to what they had done. 14 Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. 15 And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

The "devil" is a symbol for our own selfish egos. Only God can judge who the "devil" is. Each of us has the "devil" within us. Our purpose, on this plane of existence, is to overcome the "devil"--our own selfish ego--to prefer others to ourselves.

"My captivity is not My abasement: by My life, it is indeed a glory unto Me! But the abasement is the action of My friends who connect themselves with Us and follow the devil in their actions. Amongst them is he who taketh lust and turneth aside from what is commanded; and amongst them is he who followeth the truth in right guidance. As for those who commit sin and cling to the world they are assuredly not of the people of Baha."

(Abdu'l-Baha, A Traveller's Narrative, p. 42)

I understand the above to mean any one who judges others or, indeed, even himself is the "devil"--simply by the act of judgement. Judgement is God's not ours. Ours is to show mercy. So, if we claim to be good, but by our actions we are not, then, we are the devil.

We don't have to worry about Ruper Murdock. If/when he puts out wrong, karma will send it right back to him. The same for each of us.

We should not be so busy with his back yard that we neglect our own.

Why do you say that? If his media empire is so all powerful why don't you believe everything it says? Or are you just too intelligent and it's the 'little people' who need protecting from Murdoch?
