As a Christian, I would advise you to not find a faith that workds for you, but find the faith that contains the fullness of truth, and strive toward that truth.

God bless,
Shane

Through faith alone anything can be believed, God, the Celestial Teapot, The Invisible Pink Unicorn and countless other things that can neither be proved or disproved.
All religious faiths in this respect are the same, they are blind beliefs with no reliable evidence to back them up, faith amounts to a wilful suspension of disbelief, it is wishful thinking.

"To thine own self be true"...this is difficult if a religion is telling you to be something it wants you to be rather than what you really are.

Are you asking about religions, denominations or faith itself?

www.bible.com

www.biblegateway.com

I would recommend reading the book of John from the New Testament, first.

You can use the New Living Translation, New International Version, New King James Version...any of these translations are great to use.

Hope that helps!

My friend above said it almost right you dont need to be told. The God I know Gives me the choice to belive in him. I have spent some time looking into religions and I have become a Christian. To me it is the only one that make sence. My reason for this is as I said to you above and also because it is about his Love for us. It is hard to explane in a short answer but I can say this....

A God small enough for our minds is not Big enough for our needs.

THe best thing to do is read and Ask God to help. Do not listen to peoples opinions serch and read. I am a Christian because it is the only religion that tells me God went as far as to live as one of us and die for us. That might be weard to hear at first but after spending some time on it it really makes sence to me. Read the bible read the Quran read what you like the truth will stand up for its self. If you ever need some direction feel free to send me mail if I can show you something in the bible that you might want to know about I would love to help. My mail is open here on answers.

You may want to try one that is not exactly one - following the Noahide Covenant:

Belief in God, not to blaspheme, not to murder, not to steal, not to commit sexually immoral acts, to set up righteous and honest courts, and not to eat parts off a living animal.

Given to Noah even before the ten commandments were given to the Jews.

Science is slowly replacing religion. 2000 years ago, religion and superstition were the only options. Now you have a choice.
