im 14 and im almost scared to look at a guy because of my mom. shes always on my case about not having sex untill im married. i know that but she thinks smiling at a guy is having sex. what do i do im going crazy

Smiling at a guy is not having sex, it is nothing wrong with smiling at anyone, whether it is a boy or a girl. Your mother is just trying to protect you, and she does not want you to make any mistakes, by messing up your life, by falling for a boy at a early age. Just show your mom, that you are concentrating on your school work, and all of the boy stuff can come later!

overprotective mothers are always a pain in the (i don't know if this site starts stuff, but anyways, you know what Im going to say). Just sit with her and explain to her that you're 14 and it's about time that you start getting interested in guys. If she starts screaming over you CALM DOWN, don't scream back or she'll get even more mad and you'll never get your point across, just let her scream all she likes and then say "Mom, can you please wait until Im done talking, and then you can tell me everything you think?" and just explain that you want to go out with guys, but that you aren't going to have sex, and that you're responsible enough and that you think you can handle a date, and that you came to her first because you belive she's a big part of your life and that you think that it'd be great to have her advise on something that she already went through (this will make her feel A. included, and B. loved, which will put her in a good mood and will more likely make her agree with you)... Just let her know about it, and tell her that you think you're old enough to handle this responsability... If anything, you can make an agreement with her, tell her that you can only date if your grades at school are all passing grades or something like that. And if your conduct grade goes down then you agree to break up with the guy if you're dating someone. (Just don't let it happen)
In the worst of cases, you can always sneek behind her back, and if she tells you that you're grounded for it just say: Well, mom, I tried including you in it and you said NO.

Tell her to stop pressuring you and tell her when you are talking to a boy or smiling at a boy you are not going to do anything wrong with them they are just your friends

You know what? dont listen to your mom because she is crazy and do what ever it is your heart tells you to do,this is your life not her's so live the way you want to....
