You are absolutely right, there is no biblical support for the rapture, yet many Christians, especially in the US believe it is a real event that has yet to happen. Some are even actively trying to bring about the end times. It's a silly myth and it can have devastating consequences for the future of the human race if people continue to take it seriously.

The bible does not use the word rapture. The bible say we will be "caught up" 1Thes 4:17. The coming of our Lord is mentioned through out the bible. But I guess you would not know that because you do not read it.
There have been text found to be dated about 63 ad from what we now call the new testament. That is about 30 years after the Resurrection of Jesus. That means that what we have today base on those findings is accurate.
Josephus a Jewish historian for several Roman Emperors talks about Jesus.
Unfortunately atheism represents those God can do nothing for or with, and its not because He does not want to help. The bible say the god of this world has blinded the minds of them that do not believe. So we can understand why you would not believe.
But God believes in you!!!!

The be conscious "rapture" does not take place contained in the Bible. the thought of the Rapture, nonetheless, is obviously taught in Scripture. The Rapture of the church is the form wherein God removes all believers from the earth with the intention to make way for His righteous judgment to be poured out on earth in the time of the Tribulation era. The Rapture is defined broadly speaking in a million Thessalonians 4:13-18 and a million Corinthians 15:50-fifty 4. a million Thessalonians 4:13-18 describes the Rapture as God resurrecting all believers who've died, giving them glorified bodies, and then departing the earth with those believers who have been nevertheless alive, who've additionally been given glorified bodies. "For the Lord Himself will come down from heaven, with a noisy command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the lifeless in Christ will upward push first. After that, we who're nevertheless alive and are left would be caught up consisting of them contained in the clouds to fulfill the Lord contained in the air. And so we are able to be with the Lord perpetually" (a million Thessalonians 4:sixteen-17). a million Corinthians 15:50-fifty 4 focuses on the instantaneous nature of the Rapture and on the glorified bodies we are able to receive. "pay attention, I inform you a secret: we won't all sleep, yet we are able to all be replaced - in a flash, contained in the quick time, on the final trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the lifeless would be raised imperishable, and we are able to get replaced" (a million Corinthians 15:fifty one-fifty two). The Rapture is the wonderful adventure we would desire to constantly all be yearning for. we are able to finally be loose from sin. we are able to be in God's presence perpetually. there's a approaches too plenty debate over the which capacity and scope of the Rapture. that may no longer God’s purpose. extremely, with reference to the Rapture, God needs us to “inspire one yet another with those words.”

Such anger. You would think as an atheist that You would be a happy Person, no rules, so everything goes. You are twisting words to make them fit Your purpose. We are not brainwashed. Being a Christian is a strong faith. We feel as strongly about God, as You feel against Him. I am not ranting to You. You are the one, doing everything, that You accuse Others of doing. When You lock God out, You invite Satan in. Like the saying, get right, or get left.
May God Bless Your Direction

A christian should believe in the rapture because it is definitely gonna take place someday. Jesus could not even tell us when the end time would be and told us that no one knows the day time or hour but my Father. All these christians scholars apart from the holy spirit that reveals knowledge not inspired by God is in error. One must be very careful as to what and how they believe. God has told us in his word that he has taken the foolish things of man to confound the wise. Then again the holy things of God is not given to a carnal minded man only a spiritual one only. The deep things of God is not given to unbelievers apart from the revealing of his spirit. The bible says not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit thus says the Lord they God Almighty. Scholars always trying to figure God out and God keep telling us that "I AM THAT I AM".There are some things that god has revealed unto the saints that has not even been exposed to mankind yet. While mankind is trying to figure it out, Our God has already worked it out.

No Christian will listen to you, especially when you insult our Holy Scripture. Your dreams will not be remember the next day after you dream them because they are not from God but from you.Man has tried to rid the world of God and the bible long before you came into the world, so this is not a new fight from the likes of you.

I don't honestly know very many Christians who believe in the rapture. They know it's not mentioned in the bible. However they may not EXCLUDE it as a possible theory for the end of time.
I also don't know very many Christians who are brainwashed fools. I respect people's opinions, however I have a very difficult time with someone who states "I don't hate Christians" in the same breath as "filthy rotten bible" and "you are a foolish lot" and "God does not exist". I don't think you have any authority to denounce God. Neither do I believe you have any credible evidence to denouce Him.
I therefore challenge you to continue your research. And try to search sites and information that is of both sides of this argument. Now THAT would be a miracle.

maybe for the simple reason that they do read their Bible... for there are many verses in the Scriptures that can point to an actual event now commonly called as "the rapture"
(many Christian denominations though, do not push their flock to read the Bible on their own, but to read other books or to merely listen to pastors, but that's another story)
if you are to select a single verse, it could be 1 Thessalonians 4, verse something... although I must agree that people have their different interpretations of this chapter... but even so, the "concept" of the rapture is in there...
you can say that the Bible is rubbish, but you cannot deny the fact that the people who wrote down the books that comprise the New Testament Bible, including all the early disciples, all suffered tremendously & died horribly but never recanted anything they wrote down or spoken of...

Yes, as a matter of fact it IS in the Bible in Matthew and Revelation. It is not our fault that you have not taken the time to read it! As for not believing, you obviously believe in something about it or you would not be asking questions in the religion section or answering them. What are you afraid of? You talk like a jack-asss who cares only about yourself and wordly things. Just remember, there is a place in the lake of fire waiting for you due to your evil and ignorant thinking. When you are there someday you might even get a chance to remember this question you asked and the terrible things you said. Hopefully you will not end up there, but instead repent what you have said and be saved from your "filth rotten" mouth!

The rapture is one of many false teachings taught by Christendom. Those who are chosen for life in heaven must first experience death, for flesh and blood cannot inherit God's Kingdom
1 Corinthians 15:50-52--"Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I tell you a mystery: We all shall not sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed."
Verse 52 says that the dead are changed from flesh & blood to spirit form. This change is done quickly, so that they do not experience the pangs of death as others do. Jesus himself had to die physically before he was resurrected to heaven, thus proving that one must die before they get to reign as kings & priests with Jesus in the heavenly government.

You know it is true. The bible never uses the word rapture or even mention such an event. It wasnt even a popular theory until people began to embrace this escapism mentality.
