You mean the frist building? The church was "instituted" when Jesus gave it to the apostles. But im not sure when the first actual building was erected. Constantine might have built the first one. The first Catholic "church" would have jsut been in someones house or in a cave, before Constantine legalized the religion

Great question. Do you mean in the United States? A certain city in the United States?

If not......... I can't really help you much. I did find that Saint Augustine who died A.D. 430 spoke of the Catholic Church but no location was given."No man can find salvation except in the Catholic Church. Outside the Catholic Church one can have everything except salvation."

I have no idea but could it have possibly of had something to do witht he Christian Brothers in England, actually probably something in Italy around the Vatican, St Peters, St Pauls possibly

Constantine started it in Rome about 320 ad. I believe it was shortly after Helena his mother supposedly found the cross of Christ.
